Hello my little lovelies!
Just recently, I was invited down to Knebworth to experience the Beauty & the Beast afternoon tea based in Hertfordshire.
As you know, I am a huge Disney fan and Beauty & the Beast happens to be my favourite movie of ALL time so when I found out about this tea I could barely contain my excitement (seriously though, I texted like 50 people with far too many emojis and explanation marks…)
So I will explain a little about the Tea and Tea room itself and then I will follow this with all the pictures of the day..
*WARNING* can induce a strong sense of jealousy followed by a desire to go to Knebworth..
The tea was in Knebworth at a tucked away little tea house called the Sugar Boutique (website here) Upon walking in we were greeted by the lovely lady who runs the shop and a beautiful and breath taking Beauty & the Beast set up.
There was tea pots and mugs, Mrs Pots and Chip, Cogsworth cookie sandwiches, Lumiere candle stick cakes, red roses made from cake pops, ham and cheese croissants and various other choices of food (because, that really wasn’t enough hey?)
The food was all freshly made and tasted amazing. The attention to detail to the tea was outstanding with every little part of the tea, the atmosphere and the company filled with a Disney-esque touch.
I also know they prepare various other teas, including Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory, they will be doing a Mary Poppins inspired high tea (cannot WAIT to try that one out!!) and much more.
Overall the afternoon was amazing and exceeded expectations. I had comments on my social media accounts asking if this was a London/Kensington high tea I had been to, which really shows the quality of what you are given.
Let me know if this has inspired you to get down to Knebworth and try out one of the Sugar Boutiques amazing high teas!! It would make the most perfect birthday tree, or even to round off an otherwise crazy hen weekend! (PS don’t forget to invite me along 😜)
